Seeking Credit Unions to Merge Into Them:
We work with
client credit unions in starting with merger partner searches, through the
entire merger process and assist in post merger tasks or any portion of
the merger process.
We assist credit unions in developing
specifications and criteria for prospective merger partners.
We contact those credit unions that have been
prescreened being careful not to identify the prospective surviving credit
union.
Once the prospective credit union has expressed
an interest, the credit union is identified.
Our staff will meet with the senior staff and
volunteers of the desired credit union.
Once merger conditions have been met our Firm
will complete all regulatory documents including due diligence if needed.

We develop and sent a Request for Merger
Proposal to those credit unions meeting the Board of Director’s criteria.
Our staff reviews completed Requests for Merger
Proposals.
We assist the Board of Directors and, if
applicable, senior staff in rating and ranking all bidders.
We attend interview meetings with those
prospective merger partners.
Once a merger partner is selected, we promptly
prepare the regulatory merger proposal.

We immediately start working on proposals upon
receiving a signed proposal acceptance.
We promptly
forward a list of needed documents.
We prepare a first
draft promptly and forward it to the client for review and comment.
Within three business days after receiving our client’s list of
changes to the first draft (if any), we prepare two
copies of the final proposal (one for the regulator and one for client
files).

the letter to accompany the proposal to the regulator.
